Trim in spring or in autumn to encourage rounded shape. Do not plant the wormwood near other edible species because it secretes a toxin that will interfere with the development of neighbouring plants.

Culinary use

 

For external use only. Repels certain insects. Use in small sachets to repel clothes mothes. Spray on carrots or onions to repel flies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Landscaping

 

Can form nice hedges or border clumps.

 

 

The branches can be used, fresh or dried, to make a bouquet, a wreath, and in garlands.
