Culinary use

 

The rhizomes are used with meat, fish, soups, marinades and curries. Fresh rhizomes can be eaten raw or preserved in syrup and candied.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Landscaping

 

Excellent pot plant to decorate patios, terraces and stairs.

 

 

 

 

Interior plant

 

During the winter period, place the pot near a sunny window. But the plant can also survive well in front of a east or west oriented window.
