Put a treillis in place for them to grow on. Harvest the fruits when they are young and firm and white or green coloured. See use.

Conservation

 

On utilise les jeunes melons en soupes, et les melons matures en friture ou farcis avec du porc. Pour enlever un peu d'amertume au fruit, on tranche

Culinary use

 

Use the young melons in soups. The more mature ones can be fried or stuffed with pork. To remove some of the bitter taste to the fruit, you can slice it, put a bit of salt on it and slowly squeeze it to extract the juice.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Landscaping

 

Bitter melon plants are handsome vines that bear yellow flowers. The unique fruits may be light or dark green or white when young.
