Remove the leaves from the stems and spread loosely on a piece of cloth, occasionally turning over. Chop the leaves and freeze in ice cubes.

Culinary use

 

Use the fresh leaves in salads.

 

 

Use in sauces, salads, vegetable dishes, grills, and to flavour vinegars.

 

 

 

 

Landscaping

 

Use the plant in borders and as small, low hedges.
